How do I purchase online with Soundstore?
In order to find a particular product type e.g. laptops, simply type in this word in the search engine box located on the top right hand side of each page. The search engine will bring up that particular product. You can also browse through our range of products using the categories at the top of the page.
How do I add a product to my Shopping Basket?Simply click the "Add to Basket" button located below the description of the item. This will automatically add the product to your basket.
How can I see what is in my Shopping Basket?This can be viewed at any time by clicking on the "Basket" link which is situated at the top of the page.
How do I remove an item from my Shopping Basket?If you have added a product to your shopping basket and you no longer wish to purchase it - simply click on "Basket" and click on the "X" button next to the item you do not wish to purchase. This will automatically delete this product from your basket.
If you wish to empty your shopping basket of all items, click on the "Remove All" text.
How do I pay for my order?You can pay using Visa, Mastercard or PayPal for Soundstore Online purchases. We also accept One4All Gift Tokens. All prices are displayed and charged in Euro. Just follow the prompts in the checkout process in order to complete payment. You will receive an e-mailed receipt as soon as we start to process the order.

Do prices include VAT?All prices on our website are in Euro and inclusive of VAT @21%.
Do I need to be a registered customer to purchase on the website?To make purchases from our OnlineStore, you will be required to register and provide your personal details such as your name, address, phone numbers, email address and any other information that may be required to successfully complete the order. You can also use our guest checkout facility where registration is not necessary to complete the order.
Why is there a option to enter a voucher in your checkout?Occasionally we will issue a special offer voucher code which you can use in our online store by entering it in the voucher section of the checkout.

My product was damaged/ not working when I got it delivered, what do I do?Contact the Soundstore Head Office at [email protected] or by telephone at 021 4548900 with your order number and a short description of the problem.
Special order items:Any product that is showing the "Special Order" symbol means that delivery/collection normally will be within 4-7 working days. However we will contact you within 1 working day to confirm.
Can I track my order?Yes, for small items delivered by An Post we will email you with the details of your tracking number. For large appliances we will contact you to arrange delivery
What happens if I miss my delivery?For small items delivered by An Post, the postman will leave details of the local depot where you can pick up your item. For large items you will be contacted to arrange delivery. Our driver will contact you an hour in advance of arrival. If nobody is home to accept the delivery we will try to reschedule at the next available date.
Will you dispose of my old appliance?We take away your old Large Appliance for recycling for FREE on a like for like basis provided the item is ready for collection, disconnected and disinfected at time of delivery. We also request where possible your WEEE product is outside the premises where we are delivering in advance.
Please note that this does not apply to An Post deliveries of Small Items. However, you can also return your old electrical items for free to any of our stores (no purchase necessary). Please see the WEE Recycling page for further information.
Do you provide an installation service?Yes, we can provide installation for appliances in many areas around the country. See Installation Services for more information or contact us at info@soundstore,ie to see if we offer this service in your area.
The cost of this service will vary depending on the product and type of installation required.
What should I do to prepare for my delivery?

How quickly will I receive my order?Our aim is to deliver all "Small items" purchased within 3-5 days or sooner (provided that the order has been received before 3pm Monday to Friday). We use An Post to deliver these products to your door.
Large Kitchen Appliances are delivered next working day in most parts of Cork for orders placed before 12 Midnight and in most parts of Munster for orders received before 3PM provided the item is in stock in your region & within 3-5 working days in all other areas (Note: Cork City deliveries are also available on Saturday mornings) In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your order in the time frame promised, we will contact you immediately to inform you of the delay.

Will you collect my old appliance?We take away your old Large Appliance for recycling for FREE on a like for like basis provided the item is ready for collection, disconnected and disinfected at time of delivery. Can I return a product?Yes you can. You have a statutory right to return goods purchased online up to 14 days from the day of delivery (called the "cooling off period"). If upon receipt a product is found to be in anyway defective, please contact us and we will deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product. Any breakages/ damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. For full details see the "Returns" page.
