Our standard induction hob has five cooking zones with nine power settings. As it’s the pan that heats up and not the hob, induction is safe, controllable, instant, precise and energy efficient. Added benefits include low temperature settings for melting chocolate or a slow simmer along with power boost, residual heat indicator and child lock for peace of mind for families with young children. All feature electric ovens.

Dual Fuel

Dual Fuel offers the responsiveness of a gas hob, with the flexibility and even heat distribution of an electric oven. Our gas hobs come with up to six powerful burners with cast iron pan supports. A variety
of sizes accommodate a range of different sized pots and pans, from small omelette pans to large boilers for moules or soups. There’s a multi-ring burner for high-heat cooking, perfect for stir-fries and
on selected models there’s also a wok cradle and ridged griddle or teppanyaki for extra cooking flexibility. If you want gas but don’t have access to a mains supply, all of our dual fuel appliances can be
converted to LPG using a kit that is fitted at point of installation by a specialist gas installer.

Roasting with gas creates a moist atmosphere, helping to prevent your food from drying out whilst cooking. Our 90cm and 100cm ovens offer the best of both worlds, with a gas oven and one tall electric fan oven.

Induction 

Taking induction a step further, our Induction system MK2 is available on an exclusive selection of range cookers. Low temperature settings can be held for two hours until the hob switches itself off, perfect for keeping food warm. There’s also a bridging zone with two large cooking areas can be used independently or together for griddles, fish kettles or a collection of pans. Along with power boost, pan detection and boil dry protection, we’ve also developed an induction compatible griddle. All feature electric ovens.

Ceramic

For those who prefer ceramic, our classic ceramic hotplates come with
up to six cooking zones to accommodate different sized pans. Added
features include hot hob indicators for safety and an easy wipe-clean,

Grab your tape measure and record the height, width and depth of your space. Now subtract 5cm from the width and 15cm from the depth. What should I do to prepare for my delivery?

Measure correctly so you know the new appliance will fit in your kitchen. (This should be done before you buy).

Check access routes to ensure there is enough space for the delivery van and enough room to get the appliance through doors and hallways.

Remove any obstacles such as furniture so your appliance can be delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.

How quickly will I receive my order?

Our aim is to deliver all "Small items" purchased within 3-5 days or sooner (provided that the order has been received before 3pm Monday to Friday). We use An Post to deliver these products to your door.

Large Kitchen Appliances are delivered next working day in most parts of Cork for orders placed before 12 Midnight and in most parts of Munster for orders received before 3PM provided the item is in stock in your region & within 3-5 working days in all other areas (Note: Cork City deliveries are also available on Saturday mornings). In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your order in the time frame promised, we will contact you immediately to inform you of the delay.

Can I track my order?

Yes, for small items delivered by An Post we will email you with the details of your tracking number. For large appliances we will contact you to arrange delivery

Can you deliver to an apartment?

Yes, but please note that Delivery is to a Ground Floor residence only (unless a lift is available).

Can I order online and collect in store?

At Soundstore we are conscious of the fact that some customers require their purchase almost immediately and may be unable to wait for a delivery to arrive. We also appreciate that your time and money is precious, so we’ve saved you some of both with our FREE Click and Collect service.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

For small items delivered by An Post, the postman will leave details of the local depot where you can pick up your item. For large items you will be contacted to arrange delivery. Our driver will contact you an hour in advance of arrival. If nobody is home to accept the delivery we will try to reschedule at the next available date.

If I order my kitchen appliances today can you store them till I need them installed?

Yes we are happy to hold your items for delivery until you are ready to have them installed - whether its a new kitchen, renovation or whatever.

Will you dispose of my old appliance?

We take away your old Large Appliance for recycling for FREE on a like for like basis provided the item is ready for collection, disconnected and disinfected at time of delivery. We also request where possible your WEEE product is outside the premises where we are delivering in advance.Please note that this does not apply to An Post deliveries of Small Items.
