Small items:

All small items are delivered by An Post parcel service and will be delivered next working day provided that the product is in stock and the order is received before 3pm on Monday to Friday (inclusive).

Large appliances:
We offer next working day delivery to most parts of the country provided that the product is in stock and the order is received before 1pm Monday to Friday. All areas will be delivered within 3 working days at the very latest. (Note: Cork city deliveries are also available on Saturday mornings)

You will be contacted by a member of the Soundstore online team as soon as your order has been processed in order to confirm the delivery date.

Special order items:
Any product that is showing the “Special Order” symbol means that delivery/collection normally will be within 4-7 working days. However we will contact you within 1 working day to confirm.

Can I track my order?
Yes, for small items delivered by An Post we will email you with the details of your tracking number. For large appliances we will contact you to arrange delivery.

What happens if I miss my delivery?
For small items delivered by An Post, the postman will leave details of the local depot where you can pick up your item. For large items you will be contacted to arrange delivery. Our driver will contact you an hour in advance of arrival. If nobody is home to accept the delivery we will try to reschedule at the next available date.

Will you dispose of my old appliance?
We remove old appliances on a like for like basis provided they are disconnected, clean and ready for the driver. You can also return your old electrical items for free to any of our stores (no purchase necessary). Please see the “Recycling/PRFC Explained” page for further information.

Do you provide an installation service?

Yes, we can provide installation for appliances in many areas around the country. Please contact us to see if we offer this service in your area on 021-4548900 or email

The cost of this service will vary depending on the product and type of installation required.

What should I do to prepare for my delivery?

  • Measure correctly so you know the new appliance will fit in your kitchen. (This should be done before you buy).
  • Check access routes to ensure there is enough space for the delivery van and enough room to get the appliance through doors and hallways.
  • Remove any obstacles such as furniture so your appliance can be delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Returns, Cancellation and Faulty Goods Policies

RETURN - Non Faulty Goods / Product Not Wanted

When you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return goods (other than perishable or made to order/customised goods) up to 14 days after receiving your order, this is the cooling off period.


If you wish to return your order you must contact Soundstore in writing or email with the order reference number. The goods must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging, along with any accessories and free gifts received with it. The product must NOT have been used, installed nor had any data inputted. DVDs, CDs, Memory Cards and Software must still be sealed. The order will be exchanged or refunded upon receipt of the goods.

RETURN – Faulty / Damaged Product

We take every care to try to ensure that your purchase arrives at your door in pristine condition. However on rare occasions a product may get damaged in transit. If you do receive a transit damaged product then you need to contact us straight away (within 24 hours) by e-mail at or by phone at 021 4548900. We will arrange a collection (free of charge) and issue either a refund or a replacement product. Please ensure that you do not use the product.


RETURN – Product Appears To Be Faulty

If you believe that your product may be faulty then please:

  • check all connections to ensure that they are securely in place
  • that you have read the trouble shooting section of the manual as it may be a common fault that can be easily resolved

If you cannot resolve the problem then you can either bring the product to one of our Soundstore stores (see our Store Locator for your nearest store) along with your receipt or e-mail us at and we will advise on how to proceed.



You have TWO options on how you can receive a refund from Soundstore:

  1. E-mail us firstly at , quoting your order number and then send the product back to us at our Head Office. We will then give you a full refund for the cost of the product plus the delivery charge paid if it is a faulty/ damaged product. (The delivery charge will not be refunded for ‘Non Faulty Goods / Product Not Wanted)
  2. You can return the product to one of our stores (see our Store Locator for your nearest store). You will be required to produce the receipt and also the card that you paid with, so that we can refund it.

Note: Refunds will take 3-5 working days to be credited to your card. We cannot refund your purchase if the seal has been broken on any Memory Cards, Software, DVDs or CDs.
